Project overview tab
Read the project health summary and high-level financial picture
The Overview tab is the first place to check project performance.
What it shows
- total income in base currency
- total expense in base currency
- net position
- total budget in base currency
- expense breakdown
- budget vs spend chart
- top expense receivers
- monthly income vs expense trend
- contract status pipeline
How expense is calculated here
The overview expense card includes:
- project expenses
- project workers
- project contracts
What net position means
Net position is:
$$ \text{Net Position} = \text{Income} - \text{Total Expense} $$
A positive result means income is ahead of project spend. A negative result means spending is higher than income for the selected period.
Filters
The tab supports:
- date range filters
- currency display selection for some summaries
Use filters to review:
- all time performance
- current month
- a project phase
- a contract delivery period

- weekly management review
- executive summary checks
- early warning on budget pressure
- profit tracking
